NCB Now: Protection for disabled children

NCB is offering a new course to raise awareness of and develop strategies for protecting disabled children.
The one-day course takes place on 23 June in Birmingham and will enable participants to recognise key vulnerability factors that make disabled children and young people more at risk of harm.
The course will be very useful to managers and practitioners in health, social care, education and voluntary sector settings.
The programme will include safe practice in intimate care and how to develop an action plan to improve local practice.
